Ingredients
Cevapi Sausages
500 g minced beef
250 g minced pork
1 pcs onion (finely chopped)
4 pcs garlic (grated)
3 tbsp parsley (chopped)
1 tbsp paprika
0.75 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
3 tbsp water
1 pcs vegetable stock cube (e.g., Vegeta)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Directions
Place the ground meat in a bowl.
Chop the onion very finely and grate the garlic; add to the bowl.
Add chopped parsley, paprika, baking powder, breadcrumbs, water, vegetable stock cube, salt and pepper.
Mix well with a hand mixer fitted with dough hooks.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1–2 hours.
Portion the mixture into about 50–55 g pieces and shape into rolls about thumb-thick and 7–10 cm long.
Grill on a hot grill pan or barbecue for 12–14 minutes, turning several times, until browned and cooked through.
Optionally reheat in a 180°C oven for about 10 minutes if needed.
