A hearty Turkish-style stuffed baked potato with buttery mash, melting cheese and a savory veggie pepper-onion mix—perfect as a comforting side.

Ingredients

  • 2 pcs potatoes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 150 g cheese
  • 1 pcs onion
  • 1 pcs red pepper
  • 0.01 tsp red chilli flakes

Directions

  • Bake or roast the potatoes until tender, then split and scoop or mash the insides.
  • Mash the potato flesh with the butter until smooth and very buttery.
  • Grate the cheese and fold into the hot mashed potato so it melts.
  • Finely chop the onion and red pepper and combine in a bowl with a good pinch of salt, pepper and the chilli flakes.
  • Top the buttery, cheesy potato with the onion and pepper mixture and any additional fillings you like (sweetcorn, olives, salami, coleslaw, etc.).
