  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 0.25 cups butter
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cups plain flour
  • 1.5 cups milk

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  • Beat brown sugar and butter together with an electric mixer until creamy and free of lumps.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each before adding the next.
  • Add vanilla extract and salt and beat in the flour gradually.
  • Stir in milk to make a creamy batter and pour into the prepared pie dish.
  • Bake for 35 minutes, then cover the rim with foil and bake about 15 more minutes until the center sets and the top is crusty.
  • Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
