Ingredients

  • 453.59 g pork
  • 3 pcs garlic clove
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 pcs carrot finely chopped
  • 3 pcs celery finely chopped
  • 6 pcs spring onion chopped
  • 1 packet wonton skin
  • frying oil
  • water (for sealing)

Directions

  • Combine pork, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, carrots, celery and spring onions in a bowl and mix well.
  • Separate wonton skins and place on a clean surface.
  • Place a heaping teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton skin.
  • Brush water on two borders of the skin, covering about 0.25 inch from the edge.
  • Fold the skin over to form a triangle and seal the edges.
  • Pinch the two long outside points together to form the wonton shape.
  • Heat oil to about 232°C (450°F) and fry 4–5 wontons at a time until golden, about until crisp and cooked through.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.
